My Journey with and Towards Music
Ich bin mit einer Familie aufgewachsen, in der Musik eine grosse Rolle spielte. high importance and so I was allowed from kindergarten to the Abitur to attend many prägende Erfahrungen sammeln – vom ungeliebten Violin lessons until the discovery of the powerful yet soft sound of the Waldhorns, from the classic Orchestra until one's own Jazz combo. Berührt hat mich insbesondere das Verschmelzen in einer gemeinsamen Klangerfahrung, Verbundenheit jenseits der Sprache zu erleben und ein Nourishing sense of community to feel. At the same time, my personal Perfectionism. „Only when I'm particularly Great play and master my instrument, I will Seen and respected. This attitude was demonstrated to me by my family and was confirmed in my School experiences. Intimidated by such a übertriebenen Leistungsanspruch I said goodbye to my Dream of a lifetime, to become a musician. And so, at first, I took the „less dangerous“ path of studying humanities.
Freedom and responsibility
The experiences of my youth then quickly came to the fore Father. From the beginning, I wanted everything Anders to do, to be present as a man and Relationship before education train. How can my children in a more life-affirming environment grow up? How can they their A desire to explore the world and hers Playful curiosity retain it during school years as well? For me, the answer lay beyond the school system based on competition, assessment and achievement Setting up an alternative school. Embedded in an age-mixed, democratic community, they were able to help shape their educational lives themselves and both Freedom as well as Responsibility experience as complementary principles.
in these years my musical development on familiar territory. I sang in unreserved devotion, to gently ease my four children into the Sleep to weigh, brought me that Playing the guitar among building block towers and mountains of nappies, and discovered in the mirror of their playful vocal and speech development my own joy in humorous experimentation with sounds, noises, and language.
When I my Daughters finally in the children's choir on stage at the Comic Opera experienced, I was too Moved to tears, for her to have had such a wonderful experience. On the other hand, I felt physical pain from longing for more Space for my own musicality.
Discovering and developing my voice
In my early thirties, I became a member of the Chor der Komponistin Johanna Seiler und habe dort nach und nach die Stimme als mein körpereigenes Instrument. My own voice, my music kennen und wertschätzen zu lernen, has undergone an intensive process of Befreiung, Verfeinerung und Weiterentwicklung initiated on many levels and gave me the impetus to dedicate my professional path entirely to music. Alongside developments on the musical, vocal and personal level, I have through it my Professional identity Found.
Today, I share my experiences as a Gestalt therapist, music teacher and voice coach with others. It fills me with gratitude and joy to create spaces for connection and playful interaction, where people can rediscover themselves through music.

„Matthias is simultaneously in and out. He bears responsibility and shows himself fully. He brings his joy in the sounds and his strength of order into the shared activity. Everyone is themselves and is expanded within their limits. Music sounds inside and out. Behind the sounds, silence. I feel my life forces.“
