What music can we make together? Sing with us and experience a musical encounter through movement. In this session, Matthias and Qwigo will offer a safe space to dive into the world of vocal improvisation together.

We discover our bodies as instruments: clapping, stamping and snapping, a rhythm emerges, we sing melodies, patterns and harmonies. Beyond right and wrong, we create lively music of the moment. There will continue to be focal points, For example, an inspiring improv concert with fellow musicians to open the evening. Or experienced guests from the Circlesongs and Música do Círculo community can co-create the session with Qwigo and Matthias.

Everyone is welcome to join in, whether you have previous experience or not. Because here, the focus is on music and bringing people together.

Qwigo Ly Baldwin brings a lifetime of experience in theatre, storytelling, and music to improvisation and singing with people of all ages.

Matthias Blessing is an experienced improv singer, music therapist, and Circle Music facilitator. 

For many years, the two have sung, played, and researched together in the 11-member vocal improvisation ensemble called „Mahali“.
